Oh, to be mended!

I'm feeling a bit broken today and so I thought I would repost this video that I put together back in June. I thought that some of the rest of you might like to see it, perhaps for the first time. Maybe you are feeling in need of a little soul mending as well as me.

Is reposting something like regifting? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Kenneth Kope is singing this song. I think he rocks, go out and buy his CD's. And he didn't even pay me to say that or anything. I chose pictures that I thought went with the music.

In many ways it is a good thing to have the chance to be broken so that you can feel the miracle of mercy when the Master heals the wounded heart or hip for that matter.

Happy Sabbath everyone!

I love Kenneth Cope...such a beautiful video! Thanks for posting it again...since I am a newbie!

I'm glad you are at home...and soon this time will end and you will be watching games and screaming at the top of your lungs!!! (I know that was in the last post...but had to comment about it!)

I haven't mentioned this before, but my brother is currently struggling to recover from a back surgery that turned into four back surgeries in less than a two weeks. He currently has a blod clot running from his groin to his ankle - and a rare Scandanavian gene that causes extra thick blood.

It has been a major trial for his wife to keep up with the meds, the pain, etc., and every time I read your blog I feel for you. I can totally relate to this whole thing.

I hope he mends quickly! And I hope you're getting lots of support from family, friends, and your ward - you really need it right now, and if I could spell you I would:)

Oh and Jen sorry to hear about your brother. Hope all goes well as soon as possible, but I guess these things are a later than sooner situation.

Thanks for posting this again. You could post it once a month, if you wanted. I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. I wish I could come and give you a break.

Love, Kris

Thanks for posting that again. I had forgotten and it really hit a cord for me too. I am feeling a little broken these days as well. It is beautiful and uplifting. The thing to remember is that the storm clouds always break sometime. It's just hard waiting until that time.

Jen is right. You need more help from your ward. Get someone to come in every day so you can take a nap! Love and cyberhugs to everybody!

Pat-
Your Kenneth Cope video is amazing! I hope you showed it to Jared! My seminary class needs to see it as well! You are an amazing lady! I am sure the Savior is carrying you and Jared and your family through all of this, but it probably feels like he is asleep in the ship!!
We made a short little video for Jared today - Tanner didn't cooperate as much as I wanted him too - my great plan turned out kind of goofy - oh well. Maybe I'll come by Wednesday or Friday - but I'll call first! Give Jared my love.

Hey, one more thing, are you from Cache Valley? You said you hadn't bought your burial plot in Cache Valley yet? I am from Cache Valley - grew up in a small town called Hyde Park!!!
